Master's Thesis
I will be using medaka (Oryzias latipes) scoliosis (wavy spine) and normal osteoblasts (bone cells) to measure the differences between them when fluid shear stress is applied. My hypothesis is that when shear stress is applied to scoliosis osteoblasts, gene expression and cell migration increases.
