Master's Thesis

I will be using medaka (Oryzias latipes) scoliosis (wavy spine) and normal osteoblasts (bone cells) to measure the differences between them when static force is applied. My hypothesis is that when force/compression is applied to scoliosis osteoblasts, gene expression and proliferation will be up-regulated, while cell migration increases.
